Word list

Hi all

I posted a mail the other day asking if it is possible to created a drop
down list which has a number of options but the user can also type in a
response over the top of the list.

I was given some helpful advice that I needed a combo box and some VBA script.

I have trawled the Internet and have found some similar examples that I have
got to work but not one exactly like above - does anyone know a link to one?
I'm a bit of a Visual basic muppet so need a bit of an idiots guide.

Any ideas or suggestion greatly appreciated
