Word Legal Pleading Wizard

I'm not sure this is the proper newsgroup so please point
me in the right direction if this is incorrect. Have a
user who is attempting to use the pleading wizard only
because they are filing a document in a court which
requires line numbering. In several places, the footnotes
are not appearing on the same page as the footnote
notation and in some cases the line separating the
document from the footnotes goes all the way across the
page and sometimes it doesn't. Any suggestions? Thank
you.

Why not just create a document from scratch and include line numbering? But
see http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting/FootnoteOnDiffPage.htm

Note that the line all the way across is the Footnote Continuation
Separator.

Well, you can either continue to struggle with MS Word and its
idiosyncracies, or use WordPerfect, place your cursor where you want to begin
line numbering and just do it.
