Word Label setup

Hi

When I outline and copy an address in a letter I write and then click on
"labels" I go straight to my chosed label format eg. AveryL7163 and the
address is automatically inserted in the label window as it should. However,
it is right up agains the left edge and I want it to be say approx 2cm from
the left edge. I can't see any way of formatting the L7163 label and saving
it as a custom label. I can see how to alter the label sizes themselves but
nothing to do with altering the print margins inside the label itself.

Hope the above makes sense.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards

I don't think there's any way to specify an internal margin in a label.

When the address appears in the Label dialog, you can select it all,
right-click and choose Paragraph, and set a left indent. However, there isn't
any good way to save that for later re-use; you'll have to repeat it each
time. (Labels always use the Normal style, and you wouldn't want a 2 cm left
indent on all your Normal-style paragraphs.)

If you click New Document, you create a sheet of labels that you can format
any way you like and save as a template.
