word index at the end of document

I am using WORD 2007 - can I add a word index at the end of a document?

Of course you can. For instructions, click the blue question mark icon
in the upper right, type "create an index" in the search box, and
choose the topic of the same name from the list.

In true Microsoft style, if you allow the search to include online
results, the Create an Index topic will appear far down the list; it
works better if you set it for offline search.
