word in safe mode

Recently word will not start for me. I've rebooted a couple of times and
have had to start Word in safe mode.
How can I go back to working "normally"?
 
You need fix the error that prevents it starting normally. If you care to
share some hints about what actually goes wrong, maybe someone can guide
you...
