Word - I can change certain font colors but it only prints in B&W

For a visual effect I am changing the colors of certain fonts in a document
and the changes appear in my Word 2002 document but it only prints in B&W?
 
Sounds like a printer setup problem. Do other files with color print in
color? Check your printer to make sure that it is not set to print only B&W.
