so difficult to read a message and understand a problem if no capitalization or
punctuation are used these most basic things for any language surely you can
rephrase your message so that we can understand better probably the document is
slightly damaged perhaps during transmission from website request your school to
check whether they can download and open and that documents should please be
uploaded as ZIP files as this result in fewer problems during transmission

To Cindy Meister, if I offended you in my non use of capitalization and
punctuation I'm sorry! If your going to be like that then don't bother
answering any other questions! Surely you can answer someones question in a
more professional manner than you did. Because that would be the most basic
human way of treating others, wouldn't you agree?

It's rather difficult to answer a question if you can't figure out what the
question is. Keep in mind that everyone who answers questions here is a
volunteer. If you want free help, then the least you can do is present your
question in a way that allows us to figure out what you're asking.

Hi jay,

No, you didn't offend me. But I had to spend four times as long parsing what you
wrote in order to understand what you were asking than I otherwise would have
needed. So I didn't spend any additional time formatting my message to make it
easier to read. I figured you must be accustomed to working and communicating in
that manner...

Apparently not and I ended up offending you, but in your high dudgeon did you
notice that I was the ONLY person, of the hundreds who frequent this group, who
even bothered to try to help you (after you'd waited for five days)?

As well as giving you advice on how you're more likely to get assistance another
time, by making it easier for others to help you. Common courtesy, which you've
preached in three messages here, works both ways. If you expect to be always
treated courteously, you have to practise the same, whether communicating in
person or through the written word :-)

Now, to get back to the real purpose of this forum: have you been able to open the
document with which you're having difficulties?
