Word & Excel Application Execution Error(s)

When attempting to open Word (or Excel), the application 'hangs' for nearly 3
minutes; before returning a dialog box that concludes that the application
has experience 'errors'. Then, it allows me to send the error report to
Microsoft, before saving and re-opening my document. This loops through the
same process, over and over again. Therefore I am unable to use my licensed
MS products. I noticed this happening right after I installed the latest
Service Pack (2). Is there a Patch or Bug Fix that will correct this issue?

The problem appears to be the HP printer. Remove and reinstall the
printer and then it shouldn't prevent you from using your licensed MS
products.

Thanks, that fixed it. Now, I have the problem of not being able to print
to my network (HP) printer. Any suggestions for that?

You don't say what is preventing you from printing to the network
printer. If it is not available or doesn't print or you get error messages?
