Word Document Question

I have scanned a picture of an actual job bid form to
Microsoft Word...I saved the scan as a document
template...so that I could use the document as a template
to fill out different bids for jobs..I am unable to use
it..it appears to remain a picture for some reason ..Not
a workable template... how can I fix this problem?

Tina,

A scanned image is just that: an image. It needs to be converted into
text to be as you want. To do that would require that you use a bit of
software called OCR (Optical Character Recognition).

My hunch is that would not really be what you want. My hunch is that
your goal is to make a Word template for use in future job bids. I
think the best way for you to do this is to create a Word template file
(with a DOT extension), and with your model document in sight, create
your own template. You can make it as fancy or a simple as you want.
You may want to start with the Word DOC version of the current job bid
form, if that available.

Keep it simple.
