Open the document. Type control-A. (Define all the text.)
Type control-C. (Copy all the text to the clipboard.) Open
an Excel spreadsheet. Go to a cell--A1 for example. Type
control-V. (Paste the contents of the clipboard into the
spreadsheet.)
There are other ways.
I'm curious as to WHY would you want to do such a thing...
Another option is to work from within your Excel file & go to
Insert>Object>From File, then navigate to select the doc to be inserted as a
Linked or Embedded Object.
The doc will be copied into a 'floating' window on your worksheet & can be
resized & dragged to wherever you want to put it. You can then double-click
it whenever necessary in order to open it in Word to make any changes. If
inserted as a Linked Object it can be managed & updated based on changes made
in the original by going to Edit>Links in your Excel menu. If inserted as an
Embedded Object it will not be linked to the original.
