Word cannont open the document: user does not have access privileges

I upgraded the Office 2000 to Office XP and now cannot
open protected files, i.e. word, excel.

The error message as ff:
"WORD CANNOT OPEN THE DOCUMENT: USER DOES NOT HAVE ACCESS
PRIVILEGES"

Please help!!!!!

Maybe someone here can help, but this is the MS Access (the database
program) newsgroup. You may want to try annexcafe.general.user2user
newsgroup or an Office XP newsgroup.
