Word as e-mail editor (option not available)

The 2 options under mail format that enables MS Word is
not highlighted for use

Please help
 
you need the word version for that outlook. example outlook 2003 and takes
word 2003. outlook 2002 used word 2002.
my outlook 97 will use word 2002 so I think an older outlook can use a newer
word.
