I work with many word documents with tables that were created with word 97 or word 2000. When I open them in Word 2002 and try to use them I get an error message about "table has become corrupt". How can I convert these table to word 2000? Please don't tell me that the templates have to be re-created. TX snookie

I meant that I want to use them in Word 2002 without having to re-create the templates. TX snookie

Have you installed Word XP Service Pack 3? That's supposed to fix the
table corruption problems that result from editing complex tables. Do
the tables that become corrupt have common attributes, such nested
tables, merged cells, placed inside text boxes or frames, etc.?
