Word 2007

I'm having a problem with the enter & backspace key when writing normal Word
documents. I have line spacing set as 1 and it works with text wrapping. But,
when I hit enter to move down a space or two, the curser moves to the middle
or bottom of the page rather than one line at a time. Same for backspacing
from the lower cursor location.
How do I set it so hitting enter or backspace only moves the cursor by one
line? I have set as default, Word 2003 compatibility and that helped with the
individual line spacing.

On the Layout tab of the Page Setup dialog, set the vertical alignment to
Top instead of Justified.
