Word 2007

I'm attempting to transfer a document from word '00, from my flashdrive, to
word '07, but i am told that the file is corrupt and can't be opened. Is
there any way to format the document so that it will be acceptable to Word
2007?
 
Word '07 should be able to open any document from the Word 97-2003 series,
including Word 2000. It's possible that your file actually is corrupted.
 
Saving documents to removable media is frought with danger and a frequent
cause of document corruption. Always *copy* to and from the hard drive and
work from there.
