I was wondering if there was a way that I could format certain words whenever
they are typed in a document. For example, when I type the work "red" it will
show up red and bolded. If anyone knows if this is possible please let me
know. Thank You.

In any document, format the word or phrase the way you want it to appear.
Select that text.

Go to Office button > Word Options > Proofing > AutoCorrect Options. The
text should already appear in the With box. Just above that box, click the
"Formatted text" option. The text should now appear as its formatted
version. Click in the Replace box and enter a "name" for this entry. It can
be the same word (for example, red) or something that won't be mistaken for
ordinary text (for example, \rd). Click OK.

If you're prompted to save the Normal.dotm template the next time you close
Word, say yes.
