Word 2007 will not print pictures since 3/17/09.

We have 2 images in the header of our letterhead. The images comprise a
picture and a text-art entry. Until 3/17/09 it printed properly. As of
Tuesday morning, 3/17/09 (after a Windows auto-update) the image no longer
prints, only the plain text in the header, though it is properly spaced. The
image does NOT appear in Print Preview.

I have initially tried restoring to an earlier saved point, but NONE of
those points were permitted. Then I tried "Repairing" from the original CD.
The repair ran perfectly, but the problem persists.

If I copy the document from Word to OpenOffice Text the graphic still will
not print in OpenOffice, though it shows in normal view and NOT in page
preview. If I open the document with OpenOffice Text, it displays AND prints
properly.

It appears that graphic printing was somehow turned off, but I can't find
any way to do or undo that function!

In Word 2007, click on Office Button | Word Options | Display |
check the boxes for "Print drawings created in Word" and "Print
background colors and images" | Advanced | scroll down to the
"Show document content" section, check the boxes for "Show
background colors and images in Print Layout view" and "Show
drawings and text boxes on screen", and uncheck the "Show picture
placeholders" box | OK.
