Word 2007 Styles and Formatting Pane

I'm having a lot of frustration with the way the styles and formatting pane
displays the style names. If the style has an indent, it's displayed in the
pane as indented causing the name to be cut off and I have to hover over the
similar looking names to find what I want, wasting too much time. Is there
any way to customize the look of how style names are displayed?
 
Alas, no. You might find the Style (Classic) tool to be a handier way to
select styles, especially if you came to Word 2007 from earlier versions.
You can add this tool to the Quick Access Toolbar. With the QAT positioned
below the ribbon, in fact, it can be made to look a whole lot like the
Formatting toolbar in Word 2003. See the article here for
