Word 2007 Pdf problems- errors

When I take a word document that has excel tables in it and convert to pdf
(save as pdf), I have the following problems:

1) Many of the excel tables are completely blacked out. I have never had
this problem with other versions of word. Also, even when I use Adobe to
convert to pdf instead of word's save as box I get the same problem.

2) When I actually open up a pdf created with the save as box and then tried
to insert additional pages to it using adobe, I get the following error
message: Expected Dict Object. Also, I cannot also use acrobat to implement
security on pdfs created with Word.

Any ways to fix this?

Well, this is beta software and besides the option most likely isnt' going to be
part of the final release. So no, there's no way to fix it in the version of
Word you're using, and it probably won't be there later, in any case.

No question it is beta software. But if we don't raise problems and try to
find solutions how will Microsoft ever know for the final version?

One of the main reasons I'm leary of the product already going into
production - reporting things now isn't going to change what's goes out in
November. It's useless to report anything you find using the current beta
build, since it's no longer representative of the final product that's been
locked down.

Still way too many bugs IMO; reminds me of the Office 97 fiasco.
