Word 2007 has light buttons that you can't click on. How do you .

I'm trying to use the all of the choices on my Ribbon of Word
2007....specifically the APA choices. These are lighter than the others and
do not respond to selection. How can I activate them? I need them
desperately.

Did this just start or has it been this way since you installed Office 2007?

Have you installed or updated any other software recently?

Do you have any add-ins installed?

What languages are listed as enabled in

Start=>Programs=>Microsoft Office=>Microsoft Office Tools=>Language settings

Do you get the same behavior if you start Word in Office safe mode? (hold ctrl+key while starting Word)

Which Office package/edition are you using and was this an upgrade over a prior version?

Hi! I also have the same problem with Word 2007. I have Office 2007 Suites
with Word 2007. The buttons are grayed out, such as, cut, copy, paste,
e-mail. Is this because of the version? I don't have Office Outlook on my
computer either.
The computer says it was activated. How do you activate these buttons?
