Word 2007
I'm starting with a plain document in which the Normal text is 12 pt.
Cambria. (Definitely part of the style definition, not applied with
direct-formatting.)
When I apply bullets to several paragraphs using the Bullets button, the
text changes to 11 pt. I would have thought that the internal List Paragraph
format would take the text size from the Normal style.
What am I missing?
(BTW, this is just a preliminary step to defining a bullet style. I know
that it's better to use bullet and number styles than rely on the
bullets/numbers applied with the buttons. And I can change the text size when
I create the styles, but I am curious why I have to. Maybe I'm doing
something wrong.)
Thanks,
liz
