Word 2003 closes when I try to maximize a minimized document

Often when I have a Word 2003 document or documents all minimized, and then
try to maximize them, the entire program shuts down. I reinstalled the
Office software twice and this still happens. Noone else in my workgroup who
has installed this same version of the software has had this problem. Does
anyone know how to stop this from happening?
