Trying to do a "save as" to my D: drive...that little dog
guy keeps coming up and telling me I don't have access to
that drive and that I need to see my system administrator.
Well, since I'm the only one using the computer I guess I
am the system administrator. Any ideas????

Is D: a CD drive?

Yes. It's a CD-RW.

.

Save to the hard drive and copy to the CDRW drive. Removable media is
notorious for screwing up documents and CDRW formats are the most unstable
of all Windows file formats. Furthermore, Windows XP's burning tool does not
provide 'large floppy' access to CDRW. For that you would need InCD or
Direct CD etc, which are flakier still :(
