Good Morning All, In Word there is the capability to designate one or more
rows in a table to be the header as the table spans multiple pages. But is
there any way to get the first header row to say "TITLE", and headers on
subsequent pages to say "TITLE (cont)"?

Thanks, Jim.

It's a bit cludgy, but you can do it by setting up the header row to show
"TITLE (cont)", then add a white rectance, anchored to a paragraph outside
the table, to obscure the "(cont)".

Worked like a charm, even if a little cumbersome. Thanks for the help Jezebel.

Instead of anchoring the text box or AutoShape outside the table, it's
probably safer to anchor it inside the first non-heading row (in case the
table is the first thing on a page).
