Word 07 will does not like to close

Hi

I am having problem with word where if I close it, my computer (Vista
probably) has a pop up where it says that word has stopped working
unexpectantly and is checking for a colution. I have let it run its course
before in teh past and nothing comes from it. Now I just say to cancel
checking for the solution. At that point another pop up box appears and says
that it is restarting word.

This is a problem whether or not I click on the X in the right hand corner
or whether I close the document through File, then click on exit word also
under File.

It is becoming extremely annoying and am sure it is a simple fix but I have
been haviong a hard time finding a solution (not very technically sauvy).

The problem however isn't in saving the file, or not starting. It is not
even crashing. What is happening is when I choose to close the program it
says that a problem occurred and that it wants to restart.

How do I get it to close without thinking that it is causing a problem.

I am having a similar problem was a solution found? I am at the point of
rolling back to 2003 and forgetting 2007.
