Word 07 Blog thumbnail images

I am very pleased with Word 07 and its ability to easily publish to a blog. I
didn't have any problems setting it up and it integrated very easily with my
WordPress blog. Setting up how to upload pictures gave me pause, but I
realized that you don't have to put any settings in if you have a WordPress
blog- just select WordPress and it will automatically upload to your
wp-content/uploads/ (whatever you have set as default in your Wordpress
options). Very easy.

What I haven't figured out how to easily do is have Word automatically
publish a thumbnail of an image that is linked to the full size image. Most
blog posts are structured with text and small images. Click on the
small/thumbnail image and you link to the full size one.

I assumed that the Word 07 blog feature was based on Windows Live Writer
which will do this automatically.

AFAIK, you can't do that.
The blogging feature is not based on Windows Live Writer. It is its own
Word feature.

This blog holds the download link for LiveWriter ... which I believe will
resolve the issue that you are experiencing. Sadly MO Word 2007 does not
allow you to publish pictures to a blog ... but if feedback is offered then
this may be addressed within SP1 if possible
