Hi Matthew,
You've given us very little detail other than it won't work from the start
menu. In order to answer your question, or to at least point you in the
right direction, we need to know a bit more about your system.
How long has this been happening?
Has it ever worked right?
What alterations were made that preceeded this change in the system? This
would include not only software installed, but updates and upgrades to
existing programs - antivirus software in particular.
What, precisely, happens when you select one of them (if anything)?
How about if you put the system in diagnostic mode, will it work then?
Start.run msconfig and select it on the general tab, click apply/ok and
reboot - then see if it works. If so, then you know for a fact that this is
a software conflict causing the problem.
