Won't save documents, says something about file Normal. HELP!

I am not able to open documents after I'm done saving them, after I try to
close word it says that the file Normal already exsists and asks me if I want
to save it to another name. It has never done this before - I need help!

If you're using Symantec/Norton AntiVirus, try disabling the
