WMV to MPG-2 or DVD

Can anyone recommend software to convert WMV format to Mpeg-2? Or better
yet just burn to a DVD in one step.

I have tried Ulead DVD and Roxio Easy DVD Creator.

directly to DVD. There are probably others also.
