WMS Idle

I'm seeing most of the things described in the messages above
1. "WMS Idle" message at Log-of
2. Outlook 2002 process continues to run after closing windo
3. System32 folder opening at Log-o

Suggested fixes would be much appreciated.

Hi,

For most users, this happens after one of the recent updates (do you have
Q329441 installed?). Have you tried to run a repair on Office? Other than
that to cure the System32 folder issue, look for an Outlook listing or the
similar:

Go to Start/Run/Regedit and navigate to these keys:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

Look here for the program/folder in question. If listed, double click the
entry and put the full path name in quotes. And Verify that all the values
in these keys do not contain any incorrect, incomplete, or null entries
(such as "").

I am having this same problem but not necessarily when I open outlook
its when I open explorer. I also found out I have spy ware on m
machine (its almost like a virus). I dont know if the spy ware i
causing this wms idle or not but I would appreciate anything you hav
found out in elimintating the wms idle and system 32 folder problem
