WMP 11 - No Video

When playing .wmv files in WMP 11, sometimes I get no video (audio is ok).
The files that fail to play video in WMP work fine in other applications.
Does anyone know what the problem may be?

HI. YOUR SYSTEM IS WINDOW XP OR WINDOWS VISTA.
INSTALL AGAIN WMP 11 IS CORRUPT. MAKE MICROSOFT UPDATE.
IF YOUR OS IS XP IT`S NECESSARY A SOFT TO DVD OR ADD-ON
IF YOUR OS IS VISTA IT`S NOT NECESSARY A SOFT OR ADD-ON

What video card and what audio card do you have on this system?
