WMM & VCD question

I'll try to explain this as best I can.

I've created a movie file using Windows Movie Maker 2(I
have XP Home). In the movie I used still photos AND movie
clips from my digital video camera along with audio
files. Ive burned the movie to a CD.

I would like to create a VCD using this movie. I've
visited countless sites explaining I can do this and
downloaded even more "trial" software. None of the
software I've downloaded will recognize WMM (WMV) format.
I've spent the last three days combing through at least 9
different trialwares, converters and heaven knows what
else and I have about 5 hairs left on my head.

I'm no computer genious but with clear instructions I
thought surely I'd be able to complete this task. Does
anyone have any suggestions regarding a VCD software
program that will allow me to use the VIDEO I've already
made with WMM? I spent days on this and I really love the
finished product. I'd rather not start from scratch again.

Roxio 6 and SonicMyDVD will both recognize WMV formats and make a VCD.

Alternative: Open the WMV file in Windows Movie Maker2, choose the Save to
My Computer and then on the other options in file formats, choose to save in
DV-AVI. It may be a BIG file. AVI is approximately 12gb per hour.
