WMI is a Windows Management Instrumentation, make sure your machine is clean

It's indeed a Dell Latitude X300 laptop. The first thing I did to fix the
problem was to search "wmi" and "devents.dll" in Google, but it didn't help
me...

DEvent.dll is part of Dell OpenManage Instrumentation Client, an old version
was installed in the laptop. But not used.

An update could fix the problem, but as it was not used, I only uninstalled
it. Problem solved... I hope ! I'll wait a couple of days to see if the
problem reappears...

Thanks to all for the answers!
