I have Windows XP @ Home and my computer seems to have crashed.

If I go to System Information to check software or hardware installed, the
following error message comes up.

WMI file can't be found or has been moved or is corrupt..

So my question is how to I reinstall the WMI files? And were do I get these
file to reinstall??

I think I have already downloaded the WMI Diag Utility (I'll doube check
tonight when I get home).. This brings up a new problem. If I recall
correctly this WMI Diag utility is written in Excel. Well since my computer
has crashed I can't open any Excel or Word files...

So how can I use this tool with that problem??
