WMI Service

Some of my programs do not work, my pc says that it is unable to connect to WMI service '/root/cimv2'. My PC unable to find WMI service???
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
 
Hi Heather,
uninstall the modem and all of your dialup networking components
modem.
Then shut down and restart the computer and reinstall the modem and
dialup networking.
