Facing a peculiar problem...
Tried Collecting information regarding Installed Applications in local system as well as from remote systems... But it fails...
i am collecting this by getting the handle to the registry and from there i am extracting the information... Among many of the systems tried i am facing this problem only on one system... Here when i am trying to get the handle to the registry i recive an error with error code
(0x80040154) :- BITS in win 2000 is dependent on SENS & Event Systems Services. If COM+ catalog is corropted one of these errors is noticed...
How do i counter this problem... The machine on which it fails is a Win2000 system.....
Can we reinstall the COM component alone... If so how...
Please suggest some remedy and help
