WMI Configuration

I hope somebody can help. I recently purchase Microsoft Office Professional
2007. Word and Excel installed properly, but when I installed disk #2 I
received an error message. The message stated that I could not install
Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express. I contacted Microsoft and they indicated
that it is a WMI configuration problem, and they were not responsible
(Windows XP Professional was installed on my computer by others). The
company that installed Windows XP do not have any idea on how to fix the
problem.

Has anybody have the same problem with this application. Has anybody have
any solutions on how to fix my WMI system for my computer. Do I reinstall
WIndows XP, which I hope I do not have to do.

Can you restore the system from a recent restore point? If not you could do
a "Repair" install which fixes problems.

Pay attention to number 3 on the page. You do not want to launch the
recovery console for this operation.
