wma drm not playable on sandisk mp3 companion

we purchased a few sandisk mp3 companions (they use the
sandisk cruzer micro for storage). they do not have the
capability to play wma with DRM. They can only play
regular wma or mp3. we have legally purchased music from
wal-mart.com which is wma with DRM. How can we get these
to play on the mp3 players? I am new to using windows
media player so there may be an obvious solution that I'm
just not aware of. one tech support person suggested
copying them to cd-r music disks (CDA format) and then
use conversion software to take them from CDA to wave or
wma - I'm just checking to see if there is a simple
solution within windows media player that we have
missed. -thanks

Nope. The only way you can do it is to burn a standard Audio CD then rip
the files back off that CD. Remember, you have lost a extreme amount of
quality at this point.
