WM 5.0 again

Hello,

our app. developped for WM2003 works mostly fine there.
It's developped with VB.net (VS2003) for CF 1.0.
On WM 5.0 I often get into a situation where the app. stays open after
being closed (we really shut it doen, not that normal "crappy" hide).
If you look into settings/memory/open programs you will see it.

okay, I thought, just end it here but: you can't end it here. First it
claims that it doesn't respond. Nothing ned, simply click on end it
anyway, but: it doesn't end it here. The app. stays open UNTIL the user
performs a soft reset of the device!

What is/could be wrong here? I like the really closing of the app. so
changing that back to simply hiding it is no solution for me.

You've got a worker thread that's not getting shut down when the app ends.
You have to do that manually.

Hm, could be. I'm not the developper my self but it might be worth to
investigate. But why did it work on WM2003? I mean there I could end it
via settings/memory but under WM 5.0 this always fails totally...
