wkscal.exe error message

Whenever I try to run Works Calendar I get an error message "Microsoft 8 has
encountered a problem" and I can no longer open Works calendar. I noticed
that this happened since the last updates (mid October), but I am not sure if
this is the root of the problem. Anyone else have a similar situation?

This is a problem with the Works application suite. There are newsgroups
that are specifically for Works
