With XP pro. can 2 computers romotly connect using a direct phone number?

Using XP pro. can my comp. at home dial dirct to my comp.
at my office using a phone line? Not the web. If so is it a
simple task? All so how sucure is the data and computers
while connected? Thank you for responding.

Yes, it is possible.... Take a look at the Windows Help & Support and
search for incoming connections. As long as you use a secure
password, it will be fairly secure from attack by wardialers...
