Wishful thinking?

Wouldn't it be great if some large compendium of knowledge existed of all
the questions people have had in the past and all the answers that were sent
in to those questions.

And wouldn't it be great if we could search this body of knowledge and
benefit from others experiences.

That way people who had , for example, forgotten their password, or "lost"
their XP disk, or had problems with their antivirus ,or their system booting
could just look at what others had done and try and find a solution rather
than asking the same questions over and over again.

I guess all I can do until that day becomes a reality is dream about it .

And tend to my goat farm. ....hehe....silly goats.

Manny, in actuality that would be self defeating. People (and animals)
learn through repetition. Thousands of people ask the same 100 questions
each day and the MVPs answer them over and over and over. Without doing
this, the MVPs would not have these 100 issues ingrained in their brains to
the point they see them in their sleep. Can you imagine what kinds of
dreams they might have to suffer through (i.e. any of the Kid Rock videos)?
