Wireless

I have set up a Netgear 802.11g wireless network in my
house. The computer that is wirelessly connected to the
network is unable to access certain websites such as
symantec.com and mcafee.com. That prevents me from
updating virus definitions, etc. for that computer. How
can I solve this problem?

Which netgear kit are you using? A wireless access point, or a combined wireless access point-cum-router

Is this really anything to do with wireless ? Test by connecting straight in with a network cable instead. I think it is unlikely that it is

You do not give any details of what the actual problem IS with those websites? Try pinging them, then try tracert to them

Without knowing more, most likely to be a problem with your ISP or route over the Internet

Only after you've checked out the basic IP networking aspects should we then go and look at wireless issues
