Wireless router internet connection

hi,

I am having trouble connecting to the internet from a through a wireless
router. my laptop
connects to the wireless network router but the router will not connect to
the internet.
Please Help.

This is a problem with the router's configuration, not with Windows. Have
you followed the directions from your router's manual *and* the directions
from the ISP, to allow the router to log in properly?

Are you using the correct cables between the router and the modem?

Try connecting and setting up your connection (without) the router first
and make sure everything works. THEN connect the router between your
computers and the cable modem.
