wireless networking

ok here is my problem i am trying to network two computers vi
wireless connection one win98 and the other winxp i have a linksy
wireless nic and a netgear wireless router in the xp machine. and
have a dlink wireless nic in the 98 machine. now i would like to kno
how to set them up so i can share files between the two. and i als
have an internet connection thru a friends computer on the linksy
nic. some help on sharing the internet connection as well... i reall
dont care if i share the internet connection but if i could get som

Since you have the router, you do not need to share connection from your XP.
Your router should provide you IP addresses to machines on your network. You
have to set your network as "Wireless Infrastructure" not Ad Hoc.
I think the best way to go is to follow the instruction from Dlink. It
should tell you how to join the wireless router. I assume that your XP can
get on the Internet through the router.
