Wireless networking

Im tring to connect my laptop to my desktop computer over
my wireless network..and it will not see the desktop
computer..any ideas..

I've just done the same, both machines had their personal
firewalls on so couldn't see anything. If you have any on
switch them off and then re-test.

First step. Use the network setup wizard which usually will set up
everything ok. Also check that the firewalls are not getting in the way.
