Wireless Networking keeps Disconnecting

I have 2 computers each with an 11mb wireless network card, running in ad hoc mode. Mainly used for internet connection sharing and printer sharing. The signal strength between the 2 seems to be excellent, apart from randomly going to poor for a few seconds every other minute. The problem is it keeps disconnecting randomly especially when its being used. The only way to reconnect is to restart the main computer or both. Does anyone know how to fix this problem, or find a way of reconnecting quicker than having to restart?
Thanks

u should not have to restart to reconnect
do u have radio interference? can u run diagnostics on the signal
do u have a portable home phone not a mobile but radio link phone cordless they r on 2,4 gh they r a problem or do u have a radio link keyboard or mouse

try updated the firmware and check the ad hoc setting is this correct because they default to this and may not be correct
