Wireless network

Have a pc running WinXP Pro and the other WinXP Home. Cable is the mode of
connection to the ISP. Modem is connected to a D-Link wireless router. Both
pc's are hard wired to the router. Both have the same network setup but when
I try to search for a computer on the network it cannot find anything.
Windows firewall is disabled. I can ping each pc. Both pc's have also been
assigned a static IP. What am I missing?
