wireless network

having problems with wireless network.
my laptop has the wireless connection and main computer
has internet connection.i have installed a linksys access
point and can see each other computer in network space.
on main tower seem to be able to connect to laptop and
view shared files but on laptop cannot seem to get into
main computer to view shared folders says dont have
permission setting see administrator.

now all of a sudden lost internet connection in
laptop.its wireless and theres no ip conflict so not sure
whats else to look for to resolve issue.
any help would be great.

Here's a couple of things to check:
- Make certain that all firewalls are disabled for now
(Desktop, Router and laptop)
- Setup a username/password identical for both systems
and turn off the simple file sharing.
