Wireless Network Issue

I just got a new notebook, and managed to successfully hook it up to a
wireless router. Everything works fine UNTIL it enters sleep or hibernate
mode. Once it enters one of those modes, the computer no longer has a
network connection when it comes out of sleep or hibernate. In fact, when I
try to find my connection in the "Network and Sharing Center" there is
nothing there.

The only "fix" I have been able to find is to reboot or restart the
computer. Then the computer automatically finds the network connection and
everything is good.
